The Seed Company
The Seed Company by Maxwell E. Ogaga from Nigeria –
ISBN: 9781718008939. The book of Genesis is the book of beginnings, not just that it started the bible, although theologians have asserted in various publications that Job is the oldest book in the cannon of scriptures. The book of genesis is the book of patterns, it is the book we can draw patterns from and understand the plan of God. The first chapter in Genesis tells us expressly the totality of Gods mind, and then we see the fall and redemptive work of God.
From the very moment man fell we see God showing us that he has already made provisions for the redemption of man because the scriptures rightly say, “Christ was slain before the foundation of the world”. He was slain before not after the fall. I love what Bill Britton one of the pioneers of the heavenly way said “everything is on schedule. God has not changed His plans, nor re-adjusted his schedule because Adam fell”. We must understands that doctrines have several sources they emanate from three sources God, Man and Satan which correspond to the three sources of thoughts which also includes the thoughts of God, man and Satan. (The Seed Company by Maxwell E. Ogaga)
The doctrines of men are what Jesus referred to when he said, “teaching for doctrines the commandments of men”. God was never outsmarted by Satan. This was why Jesus set the five-fold ministry in the church so we can be delivered from the craftiness of men. I like the way Darby’s translation renders it in Ephesians 4:14 “in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of *that* teaching [which is] in the sleight of men, in unprincipled cunning with a view to systematised error;”. Observe the word systemise error, after a while we take systemise error to be the truths and build systems, religious and Babylonian systems from those doctrines. And we have people saying “God” has called them to preach such errors.
So we see that the provisions for man’s redemption has been put in place. But we see that in Genesis God set in motion the seed principle, Genesis 1:12 “And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good”. Here we see the scriptures referring to the power of the seed concept and principle, in that the seed be in itself means that seed has capacity in itself to reproduce itself and bear fruits, and the fruits will be after its kind. All through scriptures we can see the reference to the seed principle whether it is referring to people (posterity) or the works of God or the enemy, the seed is a powerful technology and when rightly applied will always produce.
And as an apostolic people we must understand how we can also apply the seed principle in bringing about the conversion of the souls of men, that is real soul winning. Soul winning is not just tracts distribution and making people sign up to join a church but it actually seeing to it that the laws of God are crafted into the hearts of men, which leads to the desired transformation in the soul’s realm. Psalm 19:7 “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple”.
