Bill Britton Coming of the King Part 1
Bill Britton Coming of the King Part 1, The Return of Jesus, also known as the Second Coming, refers to the belief in Christianity that Jesus Christ will come back to Earth in the future. This belief is based on numerous biblical verses found in the New Testament, which describe Jesus’ promise to return.
According to Christian teachings, Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead, bringing an end to the world and establishing His eternal kingdom. The exact timing of this event is unknown, as Jesus Himself said, “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only” (Matthew 24;36).
The Second Coming of Jesus is seen as a time of judgment, where every person will be held accountable for their actions and beliefs. Some Christians believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, where believers are taken up to meet Jesus before a period of tribulation on Earth, while others believe in a post-tribulation rapture, where believers are taken up after the period of tribulation.
The belief in the Return of Jesus is not limited to Christianity, as other religions and denominations, such as Islam and some branches of Judaism, also have similar teachings about the coming of a savior or messiah.
Overall, the Return of Jesus holds significant importance in Christian theology, symbolizing hope, redemption, and the ultimate fulfillment of God’s plan for humanity.
Hi Micheal, we are family being spoken to by God to move to Bendigo from Melbourne. I cannot get a hold of the word re Revival, would you be able to send me a link please? I would love to hear it. God bless you, Dawny.
Enjoyed your word Michael. I understand the word revival to be what happened when we got saved. We were birthed in revival, people were getting saved, baptised, delivered and healed. God has to revive the church, so that it can bring in the harvest which is then lost! Of course, we get off the track, and into the things of the world, then the fire of God goes out, and then the Holy Spirit has to blow again and fire up his people to do his work again! God’s Blessings.
Great speech Michael, thank you. Your video clip was clear and precise. Yes oh Lord, let Your Refining Fire Fall on us, Your people that we may humbly cry out as the psalmist did in Psalm 139 : Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
While listening, i was reminded of a song: Refiners Fire
Purify, my heart, may it be as gold, pure gold,
Refiners fire, my hearts one desire, is to be holy,
set apart for You, my Master, ready to Your will.
Oh Lord, have I counted the cost of this desire.
Help us Lord not to fight ourselves or each other, when Your refining fire falls, no matter how painful it is.
Hebrews 12:11 “No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening – its painful. But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.
