The Realm Behind Me: Stepping Into the Day of the Lord: There comes a time in every believer’s walk when yesterday’s revelation no longer fits today’s calling. Many Christians have been trained to look only toward the future, waiting, expecting, delaying but Scripture declares something far more urgent: the Kingdom isn’t merely coming, it has already begun.
John didn’t write Revelation 1 as a prophecy locked in some distant era. He spoke from within a present reality: “I was in tribulation. I was in the kingdom. I was in the Spirit.” These statements weren’t future tense, they were now. John had stepped into a new dimension, and in that place, he heard a voice behind him.
When he turned, he didn’t see the throne first. He didn’t see angels or the final trumpet.
Day of the Lord: He saw the Church behind him.
Not discarded, but surpassed. The Church was never meant to be the destination, only the doorway. Beyond the Church lies the fullness of the Kingdom of God, the realm of governance, authority, and spiritual maturity.
Birth Pains, Not the End
Much of what the world is experiencing today shaking, pressure, uncertainty is not evidence of darkness winning but rather the labour pains of the next move of God. Jesus already announced that the Kingdom has drawn near. The delay is not Heaven’s idea, it is a doctrine the enemy has used to paralyse generations. Revelation declares clearly:
“There shall be delay no longer.”
Revelation 10: 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer.
The Day of the Lord Birth pains mean something is emerging — not ending.
Day of the Lord: Authority Has Already Been Given
Contrary to popular belief, Satan is not the ruler of principalities, Christ is. Scripture declares that every principality and power is already subject to Him. The Church is not waiting to rule someday in eternity, we reign with Him now.
Ephesians 1: 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
The Kingdom requires maturity, endurance, and obedience, not religious attendance. Kingdom authority belongs to those willing to step beyond comfort and into assignment.
A Remnant Rising
In this hour, God is raising a Kingdom people Scripture refers to as the Son of Man company, a corporate expression walking in Christ’s likeness, authority, and purpose.
- They are not merely churchgoers, they are carriers of Heaven’s blueprint.
- They ascend to hear and descend to fulfil.
- They don’t ask “When will the Kingdom come?”
- They declare: “The Kingdom is here.”
A Call to Listen
The Spirit is not silent. The invitation remains:
- “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
- This is not the season for spiritual autopilot. It is time to listen, align, and step into the realm now unfolding.
The Day of the Lord is not waiting for a calendar date — it has already begun.
- So turn from what is behind.
- Step into what is here.
- And walk in the authority already given to you.
