Important Update About Our Free PDF Versions

Free PDF versions of our books have been discontinued.
Lampstand Communication no longer has the ability to produce or distribute free PDF versions of our public domain authors. Our previous PDF stamping software is no longer supported on modern secure servers due to changes made by Adobe, making it technically impossible for us to continue offering stamped PDFs. This was not the fault of our developer, but the result of Adobe’s system updates.

However, the good news is:

  • We now provide free Kindle downloads on Amazon!
  • To access them, simply subscribe to our newsletter and you’ll be notified whenever our free Kindle editions are available.
  • For readers who prefer modern print-on-demand or standard Kindle editions, please visit our Book Shop.
  • Where all our titles NEW AND OLD are catalogued.

What Happened to the Old PDF Versions?

PDF (Portable Document Format), developed by Adobe in the 1990s, became a worldwide standard for sharing documents while preserving formatting. Its reliability made it ideal for books, reports, and secure documents. PDFs could be stamped with protections, limiting editing or printing, and were once our primary way of distributing free editions.

But as technology has advanced, Kindle and print-on-demand formats now provide a far better reading experience—especially on mobile devices—allowing reflowable text, adjustable layouts, and enhanced readability. This shift enables us to serve readers with more accessibility and convenience.
