Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor
Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor, we’ve seen that the life and times of David are a prophetic picture of what God is doing in the church today. We have moved on from the Joshua generation. Joshua didn’t take all of the land as he never got to Zion. He never got as far as the Tabernacle of David. When David took over, he began to take Israel a lot, lot further. We are now living in the Davidic generation and we are on our way to Zion to the open manifestation of the presence of God which is coming to the church and we need to understand this and prepare for this. We are coming to Mount Zion! David shows the way! So I want us to look at some things that happened to David in connection with Zion. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
1 Samuel 30: 1 David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it, 2 and had taken captive the women and everyone else in it, both young and old. They killed none of them, but carried them off as they went on their way. 3 When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 5 David’s two wives had been captured—Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor, so we have this background here the setting of this is towards the end of Saul’s life. David has been anointed king, but Saul is still alive. The writing if you like was on the wall for the house of Saul. God was moving away from it and that is so today. God is moving the church on. The house of Saul was characterized by pride, jealousy, religious control and competition and the anointing began to lift. God had anointed David and a new day was dawning, a new thing was being brought to pass in Israel. 2 Samuel 3: 1 says “Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker”. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
This is exactly what’s happening today. There’s a new thing that God is doing in the earth and it’s getting stronger and stronger and the old is waxing weaker and weaker. We need to understand the days in which we live. David has a base here at Ziklag and while he and his men were away the Amalekites invaded the village, razed it to the ground and took everything wives, children, money, food, possessions they took it all. They were about to stone David because they were so grieved and angry over what had happened, but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
1 Samuel 30: 8 “And David enquired at the Lord saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, pursue for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” 19 “And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.”
Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor
One moment he is in the depths of despair and it looks like the tide has gone right out in his life. He is highly distressed. The rest of the men are wanting to stone him for allowing this to happen and it was a low spot there in the life of David so he enquires of and encourages himself before the Lord and the Lord gives him a command `to get up on your feet, stop wallowing in self-pity and pursue them!’ And they had to stand on their feet, pursue the enemy, smite it and 1 Samuel 30: 19 says “…David recovered all.” This is a very interesting passage of scripture. You see this Davidic generation is going to be a generation of complete restoration of all things. We are going to recover all in this generation. The Lord is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle and there has to be total recovery. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Acts 3: 21 “Whom the heavens must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” Jesus is coming for a perfect church and the import of the book of Joel is a book about restoration in Joel 2: 23-24 it talks about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the harvest coming in we know of all that…but in Joel 2: 25 it also talks about restoration “And I will restore too you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the  , My great army which I sent among you.” He is going to restore it to you, the Christian, personally. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
So, we are basically standing on the threshold of a great manifestation of the glory of God. What we need to understand is that before Jesus comes the second time to be glorified in the earth, He’s going to come in His people first. He cannot come the second time until He first comes in His people, in His church to be glorified in them. When Jesus is about to come and manifest Himself in His church like never before it is the Parousia the coming of Jesus into His people. This is not the second coming. Jesus has to be glorified in His people before He can be glorified in the earth. 2 Thessalonians 2: 14 ” Whereunto He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Think about that! He has called you to obtain the same glory! (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
So, the Davidic generation are a generation of people who will recover all. David encouraged himself in the Lord. This is a time when you have to learn to encourage yourself in the Lord. It doesn’t matter if the tide has gone out in your life or if it is the furthest tide you’ve ever seen in your life, you’ve got to encourage yourself in the Lord! We are living in a day when God is going to restore all. On one side everything is being shaken…the day of the Lord is at hand. The day of the Lord comes with great glory and great judgment. It is always a twofold thing – you are standing on the threshold of a great manifestation of the power and the glory of God and it is time to encourage yourself in the Lord. You might be weary, pressed, your finances might be shot to pieces, everything might be going wrong….David lost everything but he encouraged himself in the Lord and He said to David `Don’t sit there moaning amongst the people; stand on your feet; pursue the enemy and you’ll recover it all’. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
If you don’t stand on your feet and you don’t pursue the enemy, you will not recover it. You can think about it and moan about it but you have to cancel your contract to be miserable and you have to stand on your feet, stand before God and go after the enemy because the promises of God for this generation this time this period in the earth is to recover all whether it is your health or whatever it is; whether it is your finances, things that have gone wrong in your life…You see the Bible says “Arise” first and then you’ll begin to shine and the glory of the Lord will begin to come. We can awake to the glory but in Isaiah 60: 1 God says “Arise….”
Many, many of you have lost all kinds of things through the years but God says this generation will recover all and it is so important that we understand this. Â Ephesians 5: 14 “Wherefore he saith, `Awake thou that sleepiest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Arise and Christ shall give you light. What we have to understand is all the ten virgins were asleep! All of them! It’s time now to awake and arise. This is the condition of the church. We need to arise and stand on our feet and say `God, it can be done no matter what is against us, no matter what the circumstances are in our life it can be done! Hallelujah!’ You see the Lord is about to draw near again. Through history there have been times when He has drawn just a bit nearer to the church and He’s now about to step a little closer towards the church.
Malachi 4: 1 “For, behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.” (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
So, there’s a coming glory that is going to shake the world and shake the wicked like never before and as His glory comes, judgment descends on the wicked and upon the house of Saul so that His glory will come then in a healing and delivering way. Firstly, you see, the fire of God comes to purify His people and the fire of God must come before the glory of God is revealed. It is always in that order. We need to say, “God send Your fire.” Secondly, we shouldn’t be afraid of the fire of God. We should be asking daily “God send Your fire in my life, burn up everything that stands between You and me, every hindrance in my life, my circumstances, my situation…. burn it out!”
We need to ask God to begin to come in His fire.
Malachi 4: 2 “But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 “And ye shall tread down the wicked;” (spiritual warfare) “for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.”
There’s coming a new flow of healing not just physical healing. Physical healing is just a small part of the wounds of the body of Christ. The Sun of Righteousness is going to arise with healing in His wings and the Bible says that He will suddenly come to His temple. Hallelujah! He will come again suddenly to His people and these people will go forth as an army to tread down the enemy. God is raising up an army and they might be a bit sick at the moment. We have to get our act together and stand upon our feet! You see God is healing and restoring a people to become an army of the Lord in these end times. These people are going to be so spiritually fit because the Sun of Righteousness has arisen over them and healed them and restored them and they recovered all! Then they go forth as a people in the face of the earth! (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
What we have to understand is that there’s no amount of personal attainment that can make you like Christ. How many of you have found that out? How many of you have tried for years and it doesn’t work? There is no amount of your personal attainment that can make you like Christ. It is not designed that way and it doesn’t work that way.
It is only as you get close to Him that you change. Beholding His glory…you are changed from one level to another…see 2 Corinthians 3: 18…even by whom? By the Spirit of God. So, all He has to do is take a step closer to you and a lot of change occurs overnight. All the demons are stirred up, healing comes, deliverance comes, restoration takes place, healing flows into your life…. He just has to come a little closer. That’s all it takes…He’s going to arise you see, with healing in His wings…and it’s only as you get close to Him that you change. There is a whole new level of glory and fire coming to the church. If His presence were to increase in your life you would change. It just takes Him to come a little closer.
In Isaiah 6: 4-7 Isaiah the prophet got into the presence of God and what happened? Before things got too bad for him the angel took a coal off the altar, touched his lips and said `I’ve cleansed you.’ Isaiah didn’t even know he had the problem of unclean lips until he got into God’s presence! He didn’t even know it! The presence of God revealed this. Lots of things are not revealed in our life but as we take a step closer, we say `get it out’. The arm of the Lord is going to be revealed the Sun of Righteousness is going to arise with healing in His wings and it’s almost upon us a whole new level of the glory of God. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Each new surge of glory will cause you to change accordingly. There’ll be waves of the glory that will sweep in across the church for those who are hungry – not those who are perfect for those who are hungry for God and then that will begin to do its work in their lives. See John 3: 30 “He must increase but I must decrease.” How many times have you heard it preached `If you decrease, I will increase’? That’s not scriptural! He says if He increases, you will decrease. If He gets closer, you will be smaller…if He gets closer then all that’s not of God will start to decrease in your life. The most important thing in this present time is to spend your time in the presence of Jesus. The most important thing is relationship with Him. It’s the most important thing in your life more important than anything else because the closer you get to Him the more you will change. The closer you get the more you will become like Him…. you’ll take on His likeness and His image beholding Him you are changed you see into the same image and so He is about to increase in our lives. He is about to increase in our midst, and we will decrease when His glory will be manifest. It comes that way round the Sun of righteousness is about to arise with healing in His wings.
Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor
Isaiah 61: 1 speaking of Jesus says “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me; because the Lord hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted,” (there’s all kinds of broken-heartedness, there are problems and things that have happened to people in the body of Christ today there are people with multiple personalities, people who have been hurt through all kinds of calamities in their lives, there are people who have been fractured in life He has come to heal) “to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” (this is talking about God’s people here) 2 “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.”
You see, He’s coming. He’s coming to heal. He’s coming to restore. He just has to take a step closer. He just has to increase His presence and His glory around us, and healing and liberation will come to the prisoners. God’s people are going to be set free. God is about to raise up an army. It is interesting…He is going to raise up an army made up of the blind, the crippled, the lame those bound by circumstances that cannot change. The lame and the oppressed are going to be a major part of this army of course He has to set them free first but they are a major part of the army. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Isaiah 33: 20 “Look upon Zion” (the Tabernacle of David) “the city of our solemnities; thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. 21 “But there” (in the Tabernacle of David in Zion) “the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.” (the enemy shall not oppress you through warfare) 22 “For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us.” (How many of you know that the church needs saving all over again? They might be in the Kingdom of God, but they are in a mess!) 23 “Thy tackling’s are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast; they could not spread the sail then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.” (Likening the people here to a ship. You might not have all your problems sorted out yet. You may be lame in many, many areas of your life yet, through circumstances and situations that have happened to you. Eventually God is going to heal that company of people and the lame will be at the forefront of the army of God the lame are going to take the prey, and this is in Zion you see.)
There is a door of hope for this generation and it starts with the people of God. The Bible says faith is the substance of things hoped for and without living hope our faith is meaningless. The first stage of freedom in this restoration move is that God is going to restore hope, He is going to restore hope. The first thing the enemy eats out of your life when you’re oppressed by him in circumstances is hope…you begin to have a loss of hope in your life. But the Bible says `David recovered all.’
When Israel came across Jordan, they conquered the city of Jericho it was easy they just obeyed God. Now Ai was before them and was a very small city compared to Jericho. Joshua looked at Ai and said for just a handful of the men to go up and they could easily take that city. So, they invaded Ai however in Joshua 7 it says they were defeated at Ai. The Lord was about to prosper Israel, give them so much wealth, He was going to give them the wealth of the nations of Canaan but only on one condition…that the spoils of the first battle, Jericho, would be given totally to God. They were not to touch it. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
How many of you know there was a guy named Achan in there when they entered into Jericho who took some of the gold/spoils and hid them in his own tent? No one but Achan knew this the battle of Jericho was over but one man, Achan, had disobeyed God. So, they came in battle against Ai and were defeated. Thirty-six of their men were killed thirty-six families were suddenly grieving their dead men (sons and husbands) and it was a great time of mourning in Israel.
Joshua 7: 25 “And Joshua said, `Why hast thou troubled us? The Lord shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. 26 “And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of His anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, `The Valley of Achor, unto this day.'”
God had to reveal the actions of Achan because they affected the entire nation and they couldn’t go any further till this thing (disobedience/rebellion) was atoned for and dealt with. What we have to understand is that Achan caused so much heartache…he caused the death of thirty-six innocent people; he caused the death of his innocent wife and his children and it was a very unpleasant time in all Israel. The wives were left to grieve, and he brought untold trouble into people’s lives. Life would go on, but their lives had been affected by this one man. Their lives had been totally changed for ever, they had lost husbands and sons they were grieving and hurt, and they had no problem stoning Achan. (the Heb. Meaning of Achan is trouble, troubling). Achan brought untold trouble into people’s lives and so they stoned him in the Valley of Achor. The Valley of Achor symbolizes the trouble and pain caused by one to other people. Suddenly, overnight, lives were changed none was their fault but by the actions of one person their lives were changed for ever.
Zions Valley of Achor
You can imagine the pain that Achan felt as he stood with his innocent wife and innocent children waiting to die and he had caused it! The guilt and regret flooding Achan’s soul must have been terrible. In time the Valley of Achor became known as the valley of pain, the valley of regret – the valley of suffering that others had caused. It became known as a place of imprisonment caused by the actions of others. Hear what I am saying today because it affects all of your lives because of things that people do and experiences you have in your life and things that happen because the actions of other people can put you into prison – can keep you bound for long periods of time can short circuit and cause delay in the purposes of God for a period in your life. This is what was happening back there you see. In time the Valley of Achor became known as the valley of pain and regret and suffering that others caused – imprisonment caused by the actions of others. Innocent people were stoned to death there. Innocent people died in battle there. People there became prisoners of the actions of others, prisoners of the past, hurt, and they died. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
In the spiritual sense when that happens, what dies in us is hope. When something happens and the purposes of God are short-circuited things go wrong what dies in us is hope. Some of you are prisoners of the past because of your own failures or ill-advised actions. Some of you are prisoners of the past because of what other people have done to you and the circumstances they have created around you and whether the fault be ours or the result of what others have done the result is the same something in you dies…..hope dies…..a light goes out….. and heartache and regret can block your view in the purposes of God. You see, David lost all; then also God said to David `If you will stand on your feet in these days you will also recover it all again.’ (1 Samuel 30: 19b)
I don’t care what your circumstances are or what has happened to you, I don’t care what personal failures you have had or other people’s failures that have affected your life, God says that you can recover all. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
God is raising up a people in this day and age. The Sun of Righteousness is going to arise with healing in His wings. The burdens you carry, the heartache, the oppression you have may have nothing to do with your personal failure it may be false accusations that have imprisoned or ostracized you (this is so common and causes so much trouble in the body of Christ today) – maybe it is the death of a loved one – maybe it is something that destroyed your hopes and dreams – it might have been a destructive betrayal and something dies….hope dies….where did the purposes of God go to where is the destiny for my life how could this happen to me? You see, whatever it is Jesus is coming to deliver those whose hopes and dreams lie buried in the Valley of Achor. He’s coming to set you free. He’s coming. He’s coming. He’s coming.
Psychologists tell us that the worst trauma anyone can experience is divorce. The death of a loved one is the second level of trauma, but the worst trauma is divorce because the situation continues living it never goes away there’s always connections. It can be that all your hopes are shattered and lie buried in the Valley of Achor and losses like that cause something to die on the inside they leave you trapped in the past and they create present circumstances which you cannot get out of which you cannot change.
There’s an interesting story in the Word of God about Abraham’s father. His name was Terah and he gives us some insight into this kind of a situation.
Genesis 11: 27 “Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot. 28 “And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.” (the Hebrew says that Haran died in the arms of his father.)
To lose a son or daughter can be a terrible heartache but to have them die in your arms can be totally devastating and this is what happened to Abraham’s father, his son died. Some of you have lost loved ones and there is a devastation that comes because of this. In time Terah took his family in search of a new destiny and on route to Canaan he had to pass through a city called Haran the same name of the son who had died in his arms and when he got to this city it says in Genesis 11 “…….and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.” Everything stopped! Terah went as far as Haran and settled there that name and memory of the son who had died in his arms had imprisoned him and he couldn’t go any further. The pain was just too much.
There are many things that could remind you of happenings in the past people that have hurt you, circumstances and situations, loved ones that have died all kinds of things that just trigger something. It can be many, many things it can be a face in an airport, a song on the radio or in the supermarket which brings it all back again. It can be so many things that happened in your life the smell that the person you lost loved suddenly all of the pain comes flooding back. This was what happened to Terah, without warning, as he got to this place that had the same name you see as his son and the Bible says in verse 32 that Terah died in Haran. He died right there. He never got past the memory of what had happened it was too painful for him. Terah was never able to live beyond Haran’s death. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
I don’t care what circumstances/situations have happened in your life; you have to go on beyond it. You cannot and you must not allow the wounds of the past to nullify what God has got for you in this present time! You must never allow it even if you enter them limping you must still go on into the purposes of God for your life! You must not settle for something outside of your destiny. No matter who has hurt you, no matter what tragic circumstances have occurred in your life, no matter if you’ve been ostracized for all kinds of reasons, you have got to stand on your feet and say, “We will recover all’. David recovered all. You must choose to journey to Canaan, or you will die in Haran and you will never get past that thing in your life. You see, it’s time for healing.
This story is very, very interesting because Abraham couldn’t go any further in the call of God on his life until his father died `Haran’ had held the whole thing up and tied Abraham into those circumstances and that situation and nullified the purposes of God in his life. Abraham would have said `Lord, I know You have called me. I am subject to my father, to my household. I know You have a destiny for my life.’ (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Abraham and a whole host of people were held back at this point however after Terah died Abraham lifted up and began to go into the purposes of God.
We need to understand that it’s time for healing. Where once `hope deferred made the heart sick’ it is now `to bind up the broken-hearted’ it’s now time for release! The Sun of Righteousness is going to arise with healing in His wings and God wants to deliver you from the Valley of Achor.
Valley of Achor
I had a dream 10 Years ago about people coming out of the Valley of Achor and I didn’t even know what the Valley of Achor was until I began to check it out and look at it in the Word of God. God wants to take many of you out of the Valley of Achor and set you free and say `I can recover all…all!’ It may not be how you envisaged it, but you will recover all and the destiny and the purposes of your life will come to pass. Hallelujah! THIS IS A PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Hosea 2: 14 “Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. 15 “And I will give her vineyards from thence, and the Valley of Achor for a door of hope:……”
No matter what has happened, God promises that the Valley of Achor shall become a door of hope, you will be fruitful, He’ll give you vineyards, you will sing there as in the days of your youth and as in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt. In the Valley of Achor, you see, the scene of your deepest wounds and your worst failures, the Lord has placed for you a door of hope. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
This is the Word of the Lord for you today…I know it from the bottom of my heart. From this day on I believe the fruitfulness of God, the blessing of God will increase in your life. He is going to bring you…there’s a door of hope out of the Valley of Achor and He wants to heal your wounds; He wants to take you out of your failures and to stand you on your feet again…David recovered all! (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
There’s a new level of the glory of God that is about to be released and it’s going to bring healing to the body of Christ.
Malachi 4:Â 2 “But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall.”
He is coming! He is coming! He is coming to heal, He is coming to restore, He is coming to set His people free and to deliver His People from the Valley of Achor through a door of hope! Hallelujah! God is saying something today!
Psalm 102: 13 “Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion: (the Tabernacle of David) for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. 15 “So the heathen shall fear the Name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. (presence). 16 “When the Lord shall build up Zion, He shall appear in His glory. (presence). 17 “He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. 18 “This shall be written for the generation to come and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord. 20 “To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death (the lost). (He’s coming to set His people free!) 21 “To declare the Name of the Lord in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem;”
A new day of the Lord is dawning. Let us hear what the prophets are saying and let that prophetic word begin to arise in your heart. The prophetic word is the morning star and the morning star always comes up before dawn breaks. There is a bright star right now on the horizon and it is the prophetic word to the church today it is the morning star – it is what God is saying to us in this hour and He wants hope to arise in our heart!
2 Peter 1: 19 “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”
The sure word of prophecy. The dawn has not broken yet, but the day star is in place. The prophets are speaking all round the world. It’s not long after you see the day star in the sky that dawn begins to break, and the Sun of Righteousness comes up and all over the world. There is a day star shining today, the morning star there is a prophetic word of what God is doing and saying the army that He is building, the great glory and great power that’s coming to the church it is the morning star! The day has not dawned yet, but the morning star is in place. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Dawn doesn’t happen with one great flash it suddenly begins to arise and get brighter and brighter and brighter and the glory continues to increase and God wants the prophetic word to arise in your heart because it’s the promise of a new day….the promise of something new in God. Hallelujah! Arise and shine for your day has come! Stand up and throw off the plans that the enemy has for you. Achan caused untold trouble to Israel the loss of lives, imprisonment of innocent people, innocent people were stoned, innocent soldiers lost their lives and God said “We’ll bury it in the Valley of Achor” BUT GOD ALSO SAID “There’s a door of hope out of the Valley of Achor“. In this day and age He’s going to cause those people to be fruitful in their land. Hallelujah! (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Arise and shine you have to break out of the Valley of Achor. You have to stand upon your feet and say “I am not having this anymore……” There is a door of hope in the Valley of Achor for the people of God. Out of that Valley of Achor God is going to break forth a people who might be limping, but the Bible says `the lame shall take the prey.’ Hallelujah!
God is raising up an army in these last days and we have to break forth out of the Valley of Achor there is a door of hope. David encouraged himself in the Lord and God said to David “David you are able to recover it all!” God wants you to recover it all…begin to really take hold of God and believe God. God is shaking what is in people’s lives and shaking everything down. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
God spoke to me ten years ago and said, “Michael I can’t bring the glory into your life because I can’t trust you with it.” BUT God has been shaking everything that can be shaken until we wouldn’t dare touch it. The glory of the Lord is coming to the church again. God is shaking everything in our lives until our dependencies don’t come from our own abilities, but they are centred in God. He is able to perform His purposes for our lives. All we have to do is obey Him, hear Him, obey Him. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Many, many of you today are still buried, lying in the Valley of Achor and you cannot rise to the full purposes of God in your life because of things that have happened. God said to David “Stop being miserable, stand on your feet, and pursue the enemy and I will give them into your hands.” This is the Davidic generation…this is a prophetic word to you today…and God wants you to take hold of it as the morning star and say “I have a future, I have a destiny I don’t know what happened down the way all kinds of things went wrong but I still have a destiny in God! I still have a future in God! The things that God spoke to me will be confirmed and will be brought to pass one way or another and I will stand in these last days in the army of God and in the purposes of God and I will stand healed, whole, fulfilled and going forth in the Name of the Lord! Hallelujah!
God wants to do it. He wants to bring you release today – release today from the Valley of Achor you have to let things go lay them down. Rise and say “I can. I can. I can. I am never again going to allow circumstances to hinder me in the purposes of God. I am going to hold my head high. I am going to rise and go forth in the purposes of God”…. you will recover all it is the purposes of God that you recover all out of the Valley of Achor through a door of hope. (Zions Hope in the Valley of Achor)
Yes. This is a very timely and encouraging message.
Thank you for sharing this message. It gave me a clearer view of what God is doing in the earth, and in His People today.
Thankyou Michael. This article is the balm of Gilead to my soul.
Great article Michael. it has given me hope in my old age that Christ will still come through for me in new ways.
Thanks Michael for the word of the Lord. Yesterday I asked the Lord to speak to me, here He comes with this powerful word through you. Its like, somebody is you about me. I know I will recover all.
Dear Michael,
It was a well worth long read. That the Lord will meet our needs and break the bars that hold us in prison is a refreshing story that helps give the Faith of God to His people, to His True invisible Church. Thank you for these words. May God fullfil them according to His will. Yours sincerely.
Hallelujah and Amen!
Thanks Michael, truly a life changing message.
Thanks Don for taking the time to read and appreciating the times in which we live.
