Famine for Hearing Truth

Famine for Hearing Truth is an important message that will shift principalities and powers and so it must be put to text. This word of the Lord is upon my heart because this is an important season of transition in the Kingdom of God. For 30 years ministries have been saying it’s a new season but they haven’t told us what’s new, you don’t take the old and dress it up in new clothes and call it new. It’s still old, but it’s new when heaven declares something new, because when you turn to the Book of Ecclesiastes you realise how God works: Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Amos 8: 11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: (KJV)

Famine for Hearing Truth, some people are afraid to be the voice in a new season, and the voice of one. So they prefer to speak the popular word that everybody else is speaking. Any dead fish can swim downstream, it takes an alive fish to go against the tide. Not interested in preaching what everybody else is saying. We must be a voice in a season. Let me declare to you we are in a new season because the fact that it’s a new season does not mean that everybody enters into it. Just because God starts something new in a different place and you have not heard that new word, does not mean it is not true. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

You only enter into a new season by encountering the new word for that season, the fresh revelation. It could be a new season but you’re still operating on that old word and trying to revive something God has moved on from. If you don’t receive the new word you will not have the new experience. Let me encourage you to read Acts and read the story of Apollos.

Acts 18: 24 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John.

Apollos was a man who was one powerful preacher, he was mighty in the scriptures, he had been discipled in the way of the Lord because he was a disciple of John the Baptist. He spoke accurately the things concerning Jesus, but he knew only the baptism of John. He went to Ephesus and started a church. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

You read in Acts Chapter 19 the Apostle Paul came to that church sometime later and realised there was something wrong because they were not responding to the same level as his preaching. He was speaking on one level but they were not catching it. He asked, “have you received the Holy Ghost since you have believed?” And they responded with something unbelievably powerful. They said: “we have not even heard if there be any Holy Ghost.” Now this was about 20-30 yrs after Pentecost and they still had not heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. Let me help you to understand why.
As we can recieve a generational inheritance from our physical natural family there is also a generational inheritance that we can receive from our spiritual family. The main lesson here the generational inheritance that you receive spiritually can hold you back from the new season that the Lord has initiated. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

Acts 19: 1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when[a] you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” 3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. 4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 7 There were about twelve men in all.

Now Apollos was a disciple of John the Baptist. Now John the Baptist as you know the story of his father (Zechariah), you can read it in Luke 1 because Zechariah’s was the High priest and he and his wife prayed for a son but God did not answer their prayer and they were both past the years of bringing forth children.

Here was Zechariah the priest, he was still doing the will of God and serving but he’d given up on that prayer for children long ago, “well Gods not going to answer that prayer”. Then one day He’s functioning as High Priest and suddenly there’s an angel in the Holy Place where he’s ministering and the angel said, “Zechariah your prayer has been heard and answered.” What prayer he said?
Because he had long ago given up and lost faith in that prayer. We don’t know all of the story because all of it is not recorded but the angel interpreted his response as doubt and rejection of his prophetic word, your prayer has been answered. And the angel said to him something pretty much like, “this is something sovereign of the purposes of God so it’s going to happen; but from this moment you will be deaf and dumb until after it happens.” (Famine for Hearing Truth)

Zechariah came out of the Holy Place and he had to ask for something to write on. He couldn’t hear and he couldn’t speak. He lost his prophetic edge. (If it’s prophetic you can speak it before it happens). And he was made deaf and dumb. He couldn’t hear the word of the Lord and he couldn’t speak it. It sounds like he was living in the 21st century church age, because when Jesus, James and John came down from the Mountain of transfiguration (the new anointing) the disciples were trying to deal with a little boy with a deaf and dumb spirit and they couldn’t deal with it (the old anointing). There are some things that the old anointing cant deal with and only the dimension of the glory could/can deal with it. And Jesus dealt with the boy with the deaf and dumb spirit. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

Do you know that same (generational) spirit was passed on from Zechariah to John the Baptist his son. Now because of the sovereignty of God John the Baptist could hear the instruction concerning Jesus for he said behold The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. And the One who sent me said you will see the dove descend upon Him. But John The Baptist could never hear and listen to the voice of Jesus. John said, “are you the The Messiah or should I look for another.” He really should have closed down his ministry and been Jesus first disciple.
We know what John the Baptist was appointed for because Jesus said of him,”He’s a prophet and greater than a prophet!” Now what is greater than a Prophet? An Apostle. John was supposed to become Jesus’s first Apostle but he never could hear the voice of Jesus, and that mighty Prophet lost his head to a prostitute carrying his head on a platter. Listen you can only pass on to people what you are, not what you say! John the baptist made disciples and one of his best disciples was Apollos.

The ministry you are under determines what it is that you produce. Apollos was just like his spiritual father John the baptist. It was a new season and God was doing something new. Apollos was a mighty preacher, he was tremendous in the word. He knew the word, he was filled with the Spirit, he could preach accurately about Jesus but the revelation beyond Jesus he couldn’t get and the people that he birthed in the Lord had the same limitation. Four generations with the same deaf and dumb spirit. Zachariah’s, John, Apollos and the church in Ephesus, four generations with the same deaf and dumb spirit. Sounds like the Pentecostal movement. I know because I came out of the Pentecostal movement. The most resistant people are generally the last place that God moved. They always reject any fresh revelation if it didn’t come through them. They will say it’s not of God. They’re deaf, they’re not hearing the revelation and they’re dumb. They have no real prophetic word to speak to the next generation. You are what you are because of the word you’ve been raised under. This word is not to bless you and make you feel good. It’s to change you and make you realise you can go beyond the word you have heard before. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

So this is a new season and there’s a fresh word from the throne of God and you have to know the word that’s coming from the throne right now. We have come to understand that this is the time for the development of the new generation. This is the time for the young people in the kingdom of God. Our success will not be measured by how much anointing you had or by the size of the building that you build. Your success will be measured by one thing, what you produce in future generations. Famine for Hearing Truth

Look at the mighty move of God that took place in the United States of America in the 1940’s. It was called the later rain revival and some of the greatest and some of the most powerful healing ministries came out of that revival that started in Canada. You have William Branham, Oral Roberts and many others, almost all of the powerful healing ministries came out of that move of God in the 1940s.

But there were some major problems in that move. Very few of them were based in church. That’s where ministries got started. And every body’s ministry bore their name. (Give me the name that’s above every other name) And most of them died without an heir, without a son to carry on the anointing. Some had some to carry on their ministry but no one to carry on the anointing.

There is something wrong with that because if all that is established is your name, your ministry and then when after you’re gone it’s finished, your name is removed, just a memory remains there, somethings wrong. You must have sons but in the middle of the sons you must have a son. Moses must have a Joshua, Elijah must have an Elisha Paul must have a Timothy and Peter must have a John Mark, otherwise your ministry has failed.
Most ministries have the Absalom Spirit. You know what the Absalom spirit is? Absalom was disloyal to his father and even though he had sons, none of his sons would reach the age of maturity. So Absalom in desperation erected a pillar to bear his name because he had no son to carry on his name.

People should not be impressed with buildings. If its your building that bears your name you’ve just got an Absalom anointing. I’m sad that when I see still most of the churches you have some old men and old women who still think they have to minister every meeting and he never gives opportunity for the development of the new generation. Its time for that ldol to come down. God is a generational God and most of the things that He has spoken to us prophetically they are generational in nature even though we do not recognise it.

You see the covenants that God made with Israel after they left Egypt, those covenants were not primarily for them but for the unborn generation. Many of our fore fathers when they prophesied they thought that those prophetic words were for them and their generation and they didn’t realise that they were ministering to a future generation. Let’s look at His word.

Exodus 19 was when Israel had left Egypt and they were now at the Mountain. Moses went up to God and the Lord called to him out of the mountain. Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob and tell the sons of Israel ,” you yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, how I bore you on eagles wings and I brought you to myself. (How he brought them into a special relationship with himself). Now then if you will obey My voice and keep My covenant then you shall be My own possession among all the people. Gods looking for a special people not one just like everybody but you’ll be My special possession above all people for all the earth is mine and you shall be to Me a kingdom of Priests and a holy nation. These are the words you shall speak to the sons of Israel. This was the covenant that God made with them at Mt Sinai when there was the thundering and the lightnings and everybody was scared out of their wits. Jump ahead 40 yrs and Moses had brought the people to the border of the land and this book of Deuteronomy chapter 5 was one message that he preached to them when they’re all standing up there one day. 

Listen to what he says to them, “Moses said to them, hear now Israel the decrees and the laws I declare in your hearing this day. Learn them and be sure to follow them. The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.” (Explanation) This is 40 years after they left Egypt. Of the 3 plus million who came out of Egypt most of them had already died in the wilderness. The people who were at Mount Sinai, most of them died and here now Moses is speaking to their children. Most of them were born in the wilderness.

Deuteronomy 5: 1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2 The Lord our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3 The Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. 4 The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

Here is a generation of young people standing in front of him and Moses said, “the Lord made a covenant with us in Mount Horeb,” so they wouldn’t misunderstand it. Here’s what he said in vs 3, “It was not with our ancestors that the Lord made this covenant but with all of us who are alive here today.” The covenant is not for the dead, it’s only for the living.” Those who died in the wilderness died because of their sin of not entering the land, sin removed them from the covenant.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

There are 2 conditions for you to partake of the covenant. Firstly God is not the God of the dead, He’s a God of the living. Secondly you have to remain. You can’t start out in a spiritual family then after a while then get some strange word God is moving me on and suddenly you break the covenant and you go out on your own then you are violating the covenant. Gods relationships are all covenantal. Find out where God has placed you. Make a covenant there, be alive and remain there. A lot of the people of God break covenant. They like the benefits without paying the price.

Alive and remain. Don’t die until you fulfil your purpose because once you die the purpose for which you were created is finished. Listen to me God doesn’t need your help in heaven, the kingdom is already established there. Everything is under control in heaven that’s why your bible says the heavens are the Lords, but the earth He has given to the sons of men. Your territory is not heaven, your territory is earth. You’ve got to be alive and remain. The Lord made a covenant with us, not with our fathers. Those who have left the congregation, the covenant is not for them.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

That’s how you know it’s the last hour. Let me remind you the word Anti-Christ is never mentioned in Revelation it’s only mentioned in the epistle of John and there is no place in your bible not one that says there’s a man coming to rule over the world called Anti-Christ. There is not a single verse.
5 times the word Anti-Christ is mentioned and its only in the epistles of John. And listen to the first mention because there’s a principle in scripture of the first mention that always brings you the clarification and understanding. He says you’ve heard there are many Anti-Christs, that’s how you know it is the last hour. They went out from us, who’s he talking about again? If you take it out of it’s context its a pretext. He’s talking about Anti-Christ, he says they went out from us. But first of all its a group of people. Secondly it’s a group of people from church, but they were not of us for if they had been of us they would have no doubt continued with us. But they went out that they might be made manifest that they didn’t belong to us, they would have no doubt continued with us. Many books have named a whole lot of people as the Anti-Christ, (And so called Christians keep buying them) read your bible, Anti-Christ is something in church. You want an example of Anti-Christ, his name is Judas. Some people who were among us, left us, they were manifest that they didn’t belong to us. Anti-Christ does not mean so much against Christ but it means someone who walks alongside as though they were but ultimately they demonstrate that they’re not.

Your see a lot of people have been Christianised but they’ve not been converted. They’re in church but they never had a genuine encounter with the Lord but they learn how to act just like you. And then some one anoints them and puts them in a position. Anti-Christ is in the church and you do your best to hold onto some people and Gods trying to purge them out from among you.
The word is still,” alive and remain. The covenant is with those who remain. Those who are alive and remain that’s is who the covenant is with. God made a covenant with the house and so long as you stay in the house you’re under The covenant. If you leave the house you leave the covenant because every covenant has it’s limitations and requirements and you don’t set the standard. It’s only God who sets the standard.

I know The Spirit of The Lord and I know when The Lord is speaking and I know how to flow with the Spirit of God. This word is not to please people or to make them feel good. It’s to bring us to the word of the Lord. It’s why this message is going to preach to you, it’s not a common word because you’re not a common people, you’re a special people.

1 Peter 1: 6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith the salvation of your souls. 10 Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, 11 searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 12 To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to [c]us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven things which angels desire to look into. 13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

He testified beforehand of the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but to us they were ministering the things that now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things which angels desire to look into.
It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but us. In other words many of the prophets refused prophetic words. Ultimately they had to realise that even though the prophecy was brought to them in their day it was not for them. That’s why you have to learn how to hear prophecy because prophecy many times is generational.

Can you imagine Isaiah the prophet. Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. The government will be upon his shoulders. So here Isaiah breathes this prophecy. Unto us a child is born. It was 800 yrs later that it came to pass. You’ve got to learn how to hear prophecy because God speaks to the seed that’s in your loins as if that seed was here personally. That’s why we’ve got to give place to that seed because look at this in Deuteronomy 5: 4 The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire; The Lord spoke to you face to face out of the fire on the mountain. Now how in heavens name could God speak to them face to face when they were not born yet. Before you came to earth you had an encounter with God. That’s part of your pre-destination. This words ministering to the seed that’s in your loins. But that seed that is in your loins is having an encounter with God through the word. This word speak to both the natural and the spiritual seed. This word is more powerful than you realise. God had a fierce encounter with the children on Mt Sinai before they were born. This is a good word to remember concerning your children. When you see your children wondering off track, sometimes you get discouraged. I want you to get a revelation. It’s not because of anything you are that you’re here today. Before the foundation of the earth God has been dealing with you. God marked you out before there was a devil. God chose you before Adam sinned. That’s the power of this word because when Israel stood at the Jordan about to enter into the land of Canaan it says that the Jordan rolled back the waters all the way back to the city of Adam. The Jordan rolled back all the way to the city of Adam.
Can I interpret that for you and by the way you can find it in Joshua 3:16. Because as you break out of the wilderness to enter into the land of promise The Spirit of God does a supernatural work in you to roll back the effects of the curse of sin all the way back to Adam.

Joshua 3:16 that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. (NKJV)

Because your sin was forgiven before there was an Adam. Let me put it in another way. Before there was sin there was a Saviour. The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. You were in Christ before there was a devil. You had an encounter with God before you father knew your mother (naturally). When He talks about this face to face thing. Deuteronomy 5: 4 The Lord talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire; . God used that phrase when God defended Moses. Because Moses was not any ordinary prophet. He said I speak to Moses face to face as I speak to a friend. When your talking about face to face He’s indicating He’s brought you into a relationship with Him even before you were born. You knew The Lord before you were born. The problem with the devil is that he wants to be like you. And God had to tell him (The Devil) that this level of relationship not for him.

Famine for Hearing

Much of the earth and church as this moment (Pre November 2020 elections and COVID-19) is in turmoil right now. This has come about through not hearing the voice, planning to invade heaven rather than earth and the world. The people of God suffer and are perplexed, hence the world systems are in upheaval , so goes the church so goes the world as has been said. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

Whilst the church has been primarily teaching its people to plan for heaven (heaven focused) also signs, miracles and wonders rather than occupy the world systems, I believe its people have suffered. The primary plan for many years has been getting people into heaven rather than Thy Kingdom Come as Jesus taught us. I don’t think that some of Gods people really have a handle on socialistic intent of our universties and world governments at this time. Had the church in general had prophetic insight of the their intent the church would have been planning for this season long ago. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

However we of the Kingdom believe that the Kingdom of God will emerge in the end. We will not be governed by a Socialist state, but neither will we be of Saul’s Kingdom. We will not be a Christian nation as defined by King Saul’s reign, we will instead be a Kingdom of nation’s as defined by David’s reign, ruled by Jesus Christ and His government. Actually, we will be going beyond David to Joseph, for we are in the time of the second work of Christ. His first work was a Judah work, as He was born in Bethlehem of the tribe of Judah. His second work, however, is a Joseph work, which supersedes that of Judah. Recall that Joseph’s dream prophesied that all the sons of Jacob and their tribes would bow down to Joseph, if this be true as I believe the church is in for a surprise. (Famine for Hearing Truth)

Genesis 37: 6 So he said to them, “Please hear this dream which I have dreamed: 7 There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf.” 8 And his brothers said to him, “Shall you indeed reign over us? Or shall you indeed have dominion over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. 9 Then he dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, “Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me.” 10 So he told it to his father and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?”

The battle in the current USA elections are causing a great perplexity, and is now coming to a climax. Both sides know that the outcome of the 2020 election will determine the future of America and the world for the next thousand years. Either the Fabians (Socialists) will succeed in creating a Socialist World, or Trump and his team will succeed in his vow that “America will never be a Socialist country.”

This I believe has come about primarily because of faithful saints prayer campaigns. Everywhere currently you find there is some sort of prayer movement arising and filling bowls of incense. Heaven has responded, but so has the inhabitants who currently occupy and rule the world systems (they not just going to give up they must dislodged).

Isaiah 26:18 We have been with child, we have been in pain; We have, as it were, brought forth wind; We have not accomplished any deliverance in the earth, Nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

Let us continue to pray that heavens plans continue to unfold on earth as intended for this season. The excellent outcome of any season of perplexity found in the bible teaches us that, after the season of perplexity is always a great blessing. Every time! One of those is the Sign of the Coming of the Son of man.

Luke 24:4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

Isaiah 22:5 For it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity By the Lord God of hosts In the Valley of Vision— Breaking down the walls And of crying to the mountain.

Luke 21:25 (The Coming of the Son of Man) “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.
